Father Lavery Honored on 47th Anniversary
Members of St. Peter and Paul assembled in the parish hall last Sunday afternoon to tender a reception to their pastor, Father D.J. Lavery, in honor of his 47th anniversary of ordination to the priesthood.
In this long span of years, Father Lavery faithfully and successfully served parishes of which he has been pastor. He enjoys the esteem and affection, not only of the member of his church, but of the entire community as well, and all cherish the hope that the zealous, kindly pastor of the St. Peter and Paul church will attain the golden jubilee of his priesthood.
