Cemetery Clean Up Day 2011

Saturday 4/23/2011 : What is hoped to be an annual event, the clean-up revealed some very unique designed monuments.  With the work of a couple of Boy Scouts using soap,  water, and brush on the monument of the Ford’s, (Mazeppa’s founders), revealed a very beautiful marble effect. Many of the oldest monuments have been cleaned of lichen which has made their inscription legible, which has helped people looking for their loved ones.
