Notes from our Annual Meeting

Dori Klein, Vicky Heitman, and Bev Poncelet were unanimously voted in for another year on the Board of Directors.

Mike Hammes was a "write in" vote to replace Candis Novek on the Board of Directors as Candis is moving.  Mike accepted the position, and we look forward to what he can bring to the MAHS as a board member.

The Mazeppa Area Historical Society would like any information that you might be able to tell us, about the above photograph !  The Monitor Plows building is believed to have been on Main Street across from what is now Moto Proz.

The "Adopt a Highway" program.

The Mazeppa Area Historical Society has joined The "Adopt a Highway" program !  On Saturday morning 10/29 a group of 5 members started their 1st Road ditch clean up.  The MAHS is responsible for a two mile stretch of County Road 1, north of town from the start of cemetery hill to Trout Brook.

The "Green Bridge"

The "Green Bridge" as most locals call it, out on Co Rd 7 towards the Power Dam, has been replaced this winter/spring.  It is now open for traffic !
